MIKHAYLAH DA COSTA
Trustee
Mikhaylah da Costa has recently been appointed as the youngest member on the Board of Trustees for the MIKS Foundation. It is both an honour and a privilege to succeed her father, Alfred da Costa, in this regard and continue the good work he has achieved in the community she grew up in.
Her goal is to cultivate a space that enables the youth of South Africa to further their tertiary studies by providing them with the necessary funding to do so. Whilst embarking on this journey, she is certain that the MIKS Foundation will become a catalyst for combating major socio-economic issues such as youth unemployment and inequality.
Furthermore, she is extremely grateful for the opportunity to be working alongside the current Board of Trustees who possess a deep understanding of the needs of the community whilst combining this skillset with their plethora commercial expertise. It is inspiring to see the positive impact that the MIKS Foundation has had on the lives of many students and many other members of the community and through my involvement, I hope to further this agenda by making a valuable difference in the lives of others.
